Adopt Resolution authorizing the Public Defender, Jeffrey Aaron, to sign and accept the grant agreement in the amount of $416,500 with $323,400 designated for the Public Defender and $93,100 for the Alternate Defender, Grant Funding Pursuant to the Indigent Defense Grant Program Administered by the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC); authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Public Defender requests approval pursuant to Mendocino County Policy #25 to sign the Grant Agreement and accept the Grant Funding for a grant pursuant to the Indigent Defense Program that is administered by the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC). The Grand Administration Guide is attached to this Agenda Summary.
The Public Defender has received approval for Mendocino County's application for a Grant pursuant to the Indigent Defense Grant Program as funded by the State Budget Act of 2020 (Senate Bill 74).
