Approve retroactive Agreement with Redwood Community Services, Inc., in the amount of $50,000 to provide meal delivery services, medication pickup and delivery, trash disposal, and transportation support during the COVID-19 pandemic, effective October 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Assistant Director/Public Health Director to sign future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Since May of 2020, Redwood Community Services (RCS) has been supporting the County in an effort to keep the community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) entered into an Agreement with RCS on May 15, 2020, for meal and medication delivery, transportation, telecommunication, and trash pickup services for those placed in insolation and/or quarantine; this contract, however, ended on September 30, 2020. The proposed retroactive Agreement extends services covered by the previous contract from October 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021. RCS has the staff and the resources, along with multiple office locations spread throughout the County, to continue to assist the County with provision of these services.
