In years past (most recently 2019), the Mendocino County BOS has issued a proclamation to recognize Child Care Provider Appreciation Month in May, to coincide with the national Provider Appreciation Day on May 7th.
Summary of Request:
The Local Child Care and Development Planning Council brought forth this proclamation on behalf of recognizing Child Care Providers during the month of May. May 7th is Provider Appreciation Day. We have certainly seen the importance of child care for working families and the extraordinary efforts of child care providers during this pandemic.
