SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Department of Transportation (DOT) Agreement Number (No.) 200041 provides for preliminary engineering and design work, including environmental studies, plans, specifications, and estimate, needed for the Outlet Creek Bridge Replacement on Reynolds Highway. Wood Rodgers has agreed to perform the required work for a not-to-exceed amount of $762,353. Costs of the project are to be funded primarily through the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Highway Bridge Program (HBP), with the local match covered through Toll Credits. Future amendments for additional work will be determined based on supplemental funding from FHWA. DOT believes it is prudent to begin work with the existing funds from FHWA Allocation No. 1 in the amount of $446,300, followed by Allocation No. 2, in the amount of $316,053 upon receiving confirmation of the additional grant funding.
