SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On March 23, 2021, the Board approved Agreement No. 21-044 for an amount of $35,000. Contractor is currently engaged in conducting an investigation for the County. It has been determined that the completion of this investigation will involve more resources than anticipated. We are therefore requesting an amendment to the current agreement to increase the total amount by $35,000 for a new total of $70,000. This contractor has been retained based on its expertise in personnel-related investigations. County Counsel will process the invoices for services directly and request affected departments to reimburse County Counsel for the costs incurred.
