Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
On February 9, 2016, the Board of Supervisors disbanded the Legislative Platform Ad Hoc Committee consisting of Supervisors Brown and Gjerde and referred the development of the Legislative Platform to the Board of Supervisors' General Government Standing Committee.
Summary of Referral:
Pursuant to County Policy No. 19, the Board of Supervisors adopts an annual Legislative Platform reflecting the County priorities for legislative advocacy, state and federal funding, and issues of interest to local government. The Executive Office requests direction and input from the Standing Committee on legislative priorities for the 2022 Legislative Platform. Staff will provide an update on work complete so far and initial feedback from Departments.
