RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve Agreement with Ford Street Project in the amount of $110,600 to provide withdrawal management and residential substance abuse treatment services not covered by Medi-Cal, and weekend drug testing for Family and Children's Services clients, effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Assistant Director/ Social Services Director to sign any future amendments that do not exceed the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Health and Human Services Agency, Family and Children's Services (FCS), is committed to excellence in the delivery of child welfare services in a child-focused, family centered and culturally competent manner. FCS requests Board approval of the agreement with Ford Street Project to provide withdrawal management and residential substance abuse treatment services, and weekend drug testing for FCS clients.

Ford Street Project is the only withdrawal management and residential substance abuse treatment facility in Mendocino County and provides treatment for parents involved with FCS.
