RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve Retroactive Third Amendment to BOS Agreement 17-131 with NaphCare Inc. in the amount of $180,452.58 for a new agreement total of $1,254,989.56 for the for the Jail Based Competency Treatment (JBCT) Program to inmates of the Mendocino County Jail with funding from the Department of State Hospitals, effective May 1, 2021 with a new term end date of June 30, 2021; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
The Board approved Agreement 19-133 and Resolution 19-174 with the Department of State Hospitals (DSH) to establish the JBCT Program on May 7, 2019. The Board approved the First Amendment to Agreement BOS 17-131 with NaphCare Inc. for the JBCT Program on July 23, 2019. The Board approved the First Amendment to BOS Agreement 19-133 with the DSH to support more admissions to the JBCT Program on April 6, 2021. The Board approved the Second Amendment to BOS 17-131 with NaphCare Inc. to receive the additional DSH funds on May 4, 2021. A Second Amendment to BOS Agreement 19-133 will be presented to the Board on May 25, 2021, to receive additional DSH funds and extend the Agreement until June 30, 2021.
