By Resolution Number (No.) 20-016 (February 25, 2020), the Board approved Board of Supervisors (BOS) Agreement No. 20-014/Department of Transportation (DOT) Agreement No. 190028 with Wylatti Resource Management, Inc. for Leachate Monitoring and Hauling Services for Laytonville and Caspar Landfills. By Resolution No. 21-056 (April 20, 2021), the Board approved Amendment Number 2 to BOS Agreement No. 20-014/DOT Agreement No. 190028.
Summary of Request:
Request for Proposals No. 190028, issued on August 28, 2019, for landfill leachate hauling and disposal at local wastewater treatment plants, provided for a contract term of one year with the option to extend for up to four additional one-year periods. One of two resulting agreements, BOS Agreement No. 20-014/DOT Agreement No. 190028, was awarded to Wylatti Resource Management for leachate hauling and disposal for Laytonville and Caspar Landfills. The term of the existing agreement expires on June 30, 2021. Amendment No. 3 to BOS Agreement No. 20-014/DOT Agreement No. 190028 extends the agreement term by another year to June 30, 2022, and increases the total not-to-exceed amount by $105,000 to a new not-to-exceed amount of $232,000.

Do not approve Amendment No. 3 to BOS Agreement No. 20-014/DOT Agreement No. 190028 and discontinue leachate hauling by outside vendors.
