Approve amendment to BOS Agreement No. 20-092 with GEO Reentry Services, LLC in the amount of $84,000 for a new agreement total of $168,000 to provide adult and juvenile programming services in Willits and Ukiah for the period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022; authorize the Chief Probation Officer to sign any future amendments that do not increase the total amount of the agreement; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Board of Supervisors approved agreement with GEO Reentry Services LLC for the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021 on June 23, 2020.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
GEO Reentry Services provides one full-time GEO staff member to provide services to Mendocino County Probation for Juvenile Programming, both in-custody and out-of-custody, in Ukiah, as well as Adult Programming in the Willits Office. GEO provides evidence-based programming and other services. Approximately 75% of services are provided to juvenile population, both in-custody and out-of-custody, and approximately 25% of services are provided to adult population assigned to the Willits Probation office. Funding of these services is through Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act (JJCPA) funds for out-of-custody juvenile services, Youthful Offender Block Grant (YOBG) funds for in-custody...
