PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
Approval of BOS Agreement #18-1796 on June 19, 2018 and BOS Agreement #17-0430, Cooperative Agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture providing reimbursement for European Grapevine Moth Detection trapping activities.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
This is a retroactive agreement with CDFA that provides reimbursement for trapping activities performed by County Staff for the term of January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021. Trapping season doesn't start until April so the State did not decide on available funding or send this contract until April of 2021.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION/MOTION:
Deny approval of agreement and pay for required trapping activities with County General Fund.
