Approve retroactive Agreement with Consolidated Tribal Health Project in the amount of $107,000 to provide Mental Health Services Act, Prevention and Early Intervention Services and Community Services and Supports programs to Native American communities, effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022; authorize Health and Human Services Agency Assistant Director/Behavioral Health and Recovery Services Director to sign any amendments that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Community Services and Supports (CSS) services and Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) services work to reduce risk factors for the development or severity of symptoms of mental illness. MHSA requires qualified providers of CSS services, and PEI services within certain areas of the County. The proposed contract covers three components of MHSA program subtypes, including CSS and PEI services, which fill requirements of the Mental Health Services Act, as well as community stakeholder prioritization for services to underserved communities.
