Summary of Request

Providing both Animal Care and Animal Control services under the Animal Care Department will provide for greater efficiencies and a unified approach to animal care and control. This is desired by Sheriff Kendall and Director of Animal Care Rich Molinari. With greater streamlining of effort and a unified approach to issues related to the care and control of animals, Mendocino County will be better prepared to handle the many animal care and control situations that arise.
