Authorize the Facilities and Fleet Division Manager to establish a Capital Improvement projects to complete water damage remediation and repairs at Public Health rooms 188, 189 and 192 in the amount of $90,000 and authorize the Facilities and Fleet Division Manager to act as project manager to enter contracts and approve change orders for the project, pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20142.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
As previously reported to the Board, on August 12th, in response to a work order for drainage issues at the sink in the Public Health Break Room 192 located in 1120 S. Dora Street, Facilities staff identified a plugged drain line and damage to the drain line below grade that has caused water damage to the wall cavity between break room 192 and the adjacent storage rooms 188 and 189.
