SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
West BDC has operated as an economic development partner for Mendocino County for many years and consistently provides other services related to Microenterprise support for Community Development Block Grant Program, as well as an Annual Economic Development Strategy contract. At this time, West BDC proposes a three year contract to fill the "need for an economic development agency" and serve as an information clearing house, helping stakeholders work collectively to secure funds and streamline the governmental process, as well as oversee the economic resiliency plan. Further details from West BDC are attached in their power point presentation and project overview. Currently, no funding sources have been identified for this request.

Provide direction to staff.
