Approve Agreement with Davis Guest Home in the amount of $286,160 to provide residential treatment for adults for FY 2016-17; authorize the HHSA Director to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not affect the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Davis Guest Home provides residential treatment services for adults with chronic mental illness at their facility in Modesto. There are no such licensed facilities in Mendocino County. Davis offers various levels of care, which include groups, trainings, and programs to promote recovery of clients for independent living in the community. This will provide an opportunity to move our conserved clients who are currently placed in locked facilities to a less restrictive, therapeutic environment. Rates are $98 per client per day. It is difficult for staff to determine daily census (based on need and availability of bed space) so BHRS is requesting a contract limit not to exceed $286,160. This contract will run from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017.
