Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
The Board initially approved Resolution No. 70-19 establishing the Library Advisory Board on August 19, 1970. The Board then approved Resolution No. 06-138 on July 18, 2006, which amended Resolution No. 70-19. On August 4, 2015, the Board approved Resolution No. 15-118 which makes minor changes to the existing process for appointing members to the Library Advisory Board, makes the reimbursement for mileage optional and adopts a process for adopting bylaws for the Library Advisory Board.
Summary of Request:
On August 4, 2015, the Board approved Resolution No. 15-118 which adopted a process for adopting bylaws for the Library Advisory Board. The Library has worked with the Library Advisory Board to bring forward the Library Advisory Board’s proposed bylaws to the Board of Supervisors for consideration.
Alternative Action/Motion:
Return to the Mendocino County Library Advisory Board with recommendations.
