Summary of Request:
The week of September 5-11, 2016, is National Suicide Prevention Week. Since 1975 National Suicide Prevention Week awareness events have been held corresponding with World Suicide Prevention Day. Mendocino County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA), Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) will be recognizing Suicide Prevention week with a Proclamation. BHRS would like to raise awareness, provide education and training and reduce the stigma that surrounds suicide.
