SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Dating back to 1986, there have been various lease agreements and airport permits for fixed base operators at Little River Airport. However, since 2008, there has not been a lease agreement in place for fixed base operations. DOT Agreement No. 140119 will lease office space and two county-owned hangars to fixed base operator Air Galore, and allow Air Galore to conduct certain specified business activities at Little River Airport for a period ending September 20, 2017, with the option to extend for up to two additional one year periods upon the agreement of all parties. This lease will generate revenue of $1,500 per year plus 2% of gross revenue and $0.12 flowage fees per gallon of aviation fuel dispensed.
