Summary of Request:
The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) entered into a multi-year revenue Agreement with the County of Mendocino (Agreement 14-90070) for the purpose of providing local Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services, including alcohol and drug services, for FY 2014-2017. This fourth amendment put forth by DHCS modifies terms and conditions, and adjusts the 2016 SAPT Block Grant and State General Fund Awards. The resulting multi-year revenue total is $3,224,937. This adjusted total is $40,355 less than the DHCS’s earlier funding estimate (made in FY 2015-16), but represents an overall increase of $13,683 to the original three-year contract total of $3,211,254. Mendocino County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) seeks Board approval to sign the amended Agreement, and adoption by the Board of a Resolution authorizing the HHSA Assistant Director/Behavioral Health Director to Sign Amendment 14-90070 A04 on behalf of Mendocino County.
Alternative Action/Motion:
Return to staff for alternative handling.
