Summary of Request:
Sonoma County Supervisor James Gore is leading the Russian River Confluence Initiative with community partners throughout the Russian River watershed. The mission of this initiative is to support a thriving ecosystem by synthesize resources and actions into collective results. The initiative will be a series of events throughout the watershed culminating in a summit in May of 2017 focused on development of a multi-generation plan to regenerate and revitalize the river.
Supervisor Carre Brown requests the County participate with Sonoma County and community partners on the Russian River Confluence Initiative. The initiative will bring stakeholder and community partners together to collaborate on watershed wide stewardship.
