Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
Mendocino County Policy No. 23, “Sexual Harassment” adopted by the Board of Supervisors on June 5, 1990 and amended June 5, 2007 by Minute Order.
Summary of Request:
Mendocino County Policy No. 23, “Sexual Harassment” has been revised to conform to current statutory and regulatory requirements. If approved, the Policy title will change from “Sexual Harassment” to “Harassment”, as we have revised the definitions of harassment to be more thorough and conform to California law. Please refer to Attachment A for final draft and Attachment B for changes to the Policy.
