PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 21, 2016 the Board approved agreement No. 16-045 with LACO Associations for water agency support services including stormwater related matters.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Mendocino County Water Agency submitted a financial assistance application to the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) on March 18, 2016, in order to receive assistance for the planning, design and development of the Coastal Mendocino County Stormwater Resource Plan. The purpose of the Coastal Mendocino County Stormwater Resource Plan is to develop a regional stormwater resource plan for the municipal separate stormwater sewer system (NPDES) permittees for Mendocino County and the City of Fort Bragg.
On July 13, 2016, the SWRCB notified the Agency that its application was approved for funding with a grant award of $242,990. LACO Associates provides the County with professional services specific to Stromwater and NPDES under the current three year BOS Agreement No. 16-045 and increasing the contract amount by $198,975 will expand the NPDES scope of services and enable the Agency to integrate our current NPDES contracte...
