PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 21, 2016, the Board of Supervisors adopted the Master Position Allocation Table for FY 2016 - 2017 Budget, Resolution No. 16-071.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Human Resources Department is charged, as part of the overall maintenance of the classification and compensation plan, to evaluate current classifications, create new classifications (including appropriate salary levels), reclassify positions, examine requests for salary grade adjustments, analyze allocations, and make recommendations for additions, modifications, and corrections.

During the 2016 - 2017 Budget process, four (4) FTE positions were added to perform duties in support of the Mendocino County Cannabis Cultivation Program (CCP). Funding for a fifth (5th) position to manage the program was included in the budget process; however, a position was not allocated pending the identification of the appropriate classification to manage the CCP.
