Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

The Board of Supervisors last adopted a revision to Chapter 7.04 of the Mendocino County Ordinance in 2006. On September 13, 2016, the Board of Supervisors introduced and waived reading of the Ordinance.

 

Summary of Request

This action is to adopt the Ordinance to amend section 7.04.110 of the Mendocino County Code titled Emergency Organization and Functions, Title 7. The proposed amendments to this ordinance would provide greater clarity of roles and responsibilities of this County and other public agencies, corporations, organizations and affected private persons responsible for preparing for and responding to emergencies in Mendocino County, and to bring the ordinance into compliance with current best practices for emergency management and State laws.
