PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On August 2, 2016, the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors directed staff to provide status updates regarding the development of the draft Medical Cannabis Cultivation Ordinance, draft Medical Cannabis Cultivation Site Zoning Regulation and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Project Description and Initial Study. On September 1, 2016, at the time the Board reviewed and accepted the draft Medical Cannabis Cultivation and Medical Cultivation Site ordinances, the Board directed that the project description released with the public review draft of the CEQA environmental document be revised to include corrections and clarifications identified by the Board. On September 13 and 20, 2016, staff provided an update regarding the project description and initial study.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Staff will provide a status report to the Board of Supervisors during open session. Staff requests the Board accept the revised project description by confirming it contains the corrections and clarifications identified by the Board.
