Recommended Action/Motion:

recommendation

Adopt Resolution approving Airport Capital Improvement Plans (ACIP) for Little River and Round Valley Airports for Fiscal Years 2018 - 2022 and authorizing the Director of Transportation to sign all pertinent documents required for filing said plans with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) (Little River and Covelo Areas); and authorize Chair to sign same.

End

Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

Each year, the Board approves the ACIPs for Little River Airport and Round Valley Airport.

Summary of Request

Each year, the FAA asks local airport sponsors to update their ACIP for each airport for the next five years, outlining proposed capital improvement projects to be funded through the Airport Improvement Program.  The ACIPs for Fiscal Years 2018 - 2022 are now due to be submitted to FAA.  Mendocino County Department of Transportation recommends the Board approve the attached proposed ACIP for each airport and authorize the Director of Transportation to sign on behalf of the County for all pertinent documents required for filing the ACIPs with the FAA.

Alternative Action/Motion:

Do not approve the subject ACIP or modify the plans submitted and provide further direction to staff.
