Summary of Request

Planning and Building Services (PBS) recommends the Board adopt an Ordinance to rezone a 160± acre parcel (APN 046-550-76) from RL to TPZ, as recommended by the Planning Commission, and finds that; 1) the project is statutorily exempt from CEQA per section 15264, California Code of Regulations Title 14, Chapter 3; and, 2) the proposed rezone is consistent with the applicable goals and policies of the General Plan, including that the TPZ Zoning District is consistent with and implements the General Plan’s Rangeland land use classification.

Alternative Action/Motion:

Deny the rezone and provide staff further direction.
