Summary of Request

Supervisors McCowen and Brown are requesting approval of a Proclamation recognizing John Macdonald for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, which is the highest rank in scouting.

 

In order to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout a scout must demonstrate exceptional dedication, hard work, personal responsibility and leadership over a period of several years. Recognition by the Board of Supervisors of this achievement supports the hard work and accomplishments of the individual scout and also the positive leadership and character development aspects of scouting.
