Summary of Request

The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Office of Child Abuse Prevention (OCAP) provides funding for Child Abuse Prevention programs through multiple Federal and State funding sources. The services provided with these funds must tie into the County’s Child Welfare System Improvement Plan (SIP). Currently, the non-profit Family Resource Center Network provides these services countywide after the most recent Request for Proposal (RFP) was completed in 2011. This proposed contract will ensure OCAP services to continue in the community to target child abuse and neglect pending the completion of the new RFP.
