By Resolution No. 12-019 (January 24, 2012), the Board of Supervisors (BOS) approved and executed DOT Agreement No. 110120/BOS Agreement No. 12-013, Standard Services Agreement with Alpha Analytical Laboratories, Inc., for Landfill Water and Gas Monitoring Laboratory Testing.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
In compliance with North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board's Waste Discharge Requirement Orders and Industrial General Permit, DOT staff performs quarterly sampling and testing of ground water, surface water, storm water and leachate from the County's three closed landfills (Caspar, Laytonville and South Coast). DOT Agreement No. 110120/BOS Agreement No. 12-013, Standard Services Agreement with Alpha Analytical Laboratories, Inc., for Landfill Water and Gas Monitoring Laboratory Testing, expired on December 31, 2016.
