Adopt the Resolution authorizing the submittal of a $500,000 application to the California State Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for funding under the Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program; Authorizing the Planning & Building Services Director to execute the HCD standard agreement, any amendments thereto, and any related documents necessary to participate in the HOME Program; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
In 2008, the Board of Supervisors approved a Resolution authorizing the submittal of an application to HCD for funding under the HOME Program.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) released a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the HOME Program on December 6, 2016. In response to the 2016 NOFA, CDC has prepared an application for a County Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) program. The program would be operated in the following jurisdictions: unincorporated areas of Mendocino County, City of Willits, City of Fort Bragg, and City of Point Arena.
