Authorize acquisition of replacement vehicles for the Sheriff's Office and Department of Transportation (Fixed Assets) due to vehicle collisions and theft. The Board of Supervisors adopted the Final Budget including the schedule of fixed assets for FY 16/17.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Sheriff's Office and the Department of Transportation were involved in two vehicle accidents and a theft leaving three vehicles totaled. The replacement cost of the Sheriff's Office vehicles are $48,148.87 each and the replacement cost of the Department of Transportation vehicle is $42,716.00.
