Adopt resolution authorizing the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office to submit a proposal for funding through the Adult Local Criminal Justice Facilities Construction Financing Program (Senate Bill 844), to the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC), for additional specialty housing and expanded program, training, and mental healthcare space at the County Jail, authorizing the Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On September 23, 2013, the Board of Supervisors authorized the Sheriff to submit a proposal for the Senate Bill (SB) 1022 Jail Construction Financing for a jail renovation and expansion project and adopted Resolution No. 13-094. Mendocino County was not awarded funding for the project through the SB 1022 program. On August 4, 2015, the Board of Supervisor adopted a resolution authorizing the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office to submit a proposal for funding through the Adult Local Criminal Justice Facilities Construction Financing Program (Senate Bill 863), to the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC), for specialty housing and expanded program, training, and healthcare space at the County Jail.
