Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

On September 9, 2015, the Board adopted Resolution No. 15-141 approving the Memorandum of Understanding between the County of Mendocino and the Mendocino County Public Attorneys’ Association.

 

Summary of Request

The Board of Supervisors’ negotiating team has met with representative(s) from the Mendocino County Public Attorneys’ Association and have reached agreement regarding the appropriate terms and conditions of employment for the term January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2018.  Attached is a Resolution approving the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the MOU (Attachment A).  The proposal includes a salary increase (approx. General Fund (GF) cost of $240,000) effective the first full pay period following the approval of the MOU.  Funding for the salary increases will be included in the FY 2017-18 Adopted Budget.
