Approve cooperative agreement with CDFA in the amount of $131,613 for reimbursement of detection trapping activities related to EGVM for the term of January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

Approval of BOS agreement #15-0592 on May 17, 2016, providing reimbursement for EGVM detection trapping activities.                                          

 

Summary of Request

This is a revenue agreement with CDFA that provides reimbursement for EGVM trapping activities performed by County staff.  EGVM continues to be a threat to statewide agricultural operations, and CDFA continues to fund eradication efforts.

 

Alternative Action/Motion:

Deny approval of agreement and pay for required trapping activities with County General Fund.
