RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve Agreement with Redwood Community Services in the amount of $437,760 to continue implementation of CAM'S PLACE, a residentially based services pilot demonstration project, in FY 2017-18; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Mendocino County needs placement services for difficult-to-place youth who need intensive treatment services. Redwood Community Services (RCS) is the sole provider in Mendocino County operating a Residentially Based Services (RBS) program (CAM'S PLACE) that combines intensive short-term residential treatment and stabilization with follow-up community-based services to reconnect youth, ages 5-18, to their families, schools, and communities.
