Summary of Request:
On June 20, 2017, after receiving two presentations about the state of homelessness in Mendocino County, the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors directed HHSA Chief Operations Officer, Anne Molgaard, Adult and Aging Services Acting Deputy Director, Kelsey Rivera, and the Housing Options Mendocino (HOME) Team staff to pursue opportunities to research, develop and propose possible solutions for concerns related to homelessness in Mendocino County.
The Mendocino County HHSA is requesting the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors adopt this Resolution allowing HHSA to pursue funds in the amount of $75,000, to assist in the coordination and implementation of local homelessness systems, capacity-building related to transitional and permanent-supportive housing, and the development of a comprehensive county-wide Homelessness Plan.
