PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On November 17, 2015, the Board adopted Resolution No. 15-163 approving the Memorandum of Understanding between the County of Mendocino and the Mendocino County Department Head Association. On December 8, 2015, the Board adopted Resolution No. 15-175 replacing Resolution No. 15-163 between the County of Mendocino and the Mendocino County Department Head Association.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Board of Supervisors' negotiating team met with representatives from the Mendocino County Department Head Association and have reached agreement regarding appropriate terms and conditions of employment for the term September 1, 2017 through August 31, 2019. Attached is a Resolution approving the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the MOU (Attachment A). Updates to the MOU include: 3% salary increase and one-time supplemental payment of $2,000 in Fiscal Years 17/18 and 18/19 and no health insurance premium increase for calendar year 2018. The salary increase is approximately $81,585 of General Fund cost, effective the first full pay period in September, 2017.
