RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Authorize a Public Hearing on September 12, 2017, to consider amendments to the Master Fee Schedule, including a tiered application/permit fee for cottage industry cultivation of cannabis at less than full cost of services, as previously directed by the Board of Supervisors, and to consider other amendments to cannabis program related fees as necessary.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On August 22, 2017, the Board of Supervisors directed staff to present options for reduced fees for cottage industry cultivators of cannabis for Board of Supervisors discussion at the September 12, 2017, meeting.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Board of Supervisors directed staff to present options for discussion on the Board's September 12, 2017, agenda to consider a new or revised (reduced/less than full cost recovery) fees for cottage cultivators of cannabis. The Board had previously directed that the item be presented for discussion on September 12, 2017, with a subsequent public hearing to be held on September 18 or 19, 2017, to consider said fee amendments.
