Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
The fiscal year budget for 2017-2018 went into effect July 1, 2017 which included funding for the Mendocino County WISC Parking Lot Paving & Lighting Project.
Summary of Request:
The project includes new asphalt paving and striping of an existing graveled parking lot located on the east side of the Willits Integrated Services Center (WISC) at 470 East Valley Street in Willits, CA 95490. The project also includes additional concrete ADA access ramps and path of travel upgrades, along with upgraded area/ security lighting. The parking lot paving and striping, concrete, ADA upgrades, and lighting work will be completed by June 30, 2018. The bid price is within the amount budgeted for this project, and the Executive Office, Facilities and Fleet Division recommends approval of contract award to T&T Paving Inc. dba Valley Paving.
Alternative Action/Motion:
Reject bid(s) and provide staff with further direction. This alternative would remove the possibility of these improvements being made this fall.
