SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Incumbent candidates Kathryn Cavness, General Member, 3rd Seat, Tim Knudsen, Retired Member, 8th Seat, and Richard Shoemaker, Alternate Retired Member, 10th seat, are all running unopposed for the October 2, 2017 Board of Retirement elections. Therefore, pursuant to Government Code Section 31523, the Board of Supervisors shall order that no election be held and shall direct the Retirement Administrator to cast a unanimous ballot in favor of such candidates for the three year terms beginning December 1, 2017.
