SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Pacific Redwood Medical Group (PRMG) provides medical services to youth detained in Juvenile Hall. PRMG provides up to 26 mid-level provider (Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) hours per month, up to six days per week. PRMG conducts physical examinations, episodic health care or medical consultation, referral to specialty medical services, as necessary, supervision and maintenance of medical records. They work in close consultation with our staff LVN to provide the appropriate medical care our residents require. In addition, PRMG provides coverage for our LVN during periods of absence to ensure medical care is provided as required by state law.
PRMG is paid a flat monthly fee for the 26 mid-level hours per month as follows:
Year 1: $4,087/month ($49,044/year)
Year 2: $4,210/month ($50,520/year)
Year 3: $4,336/month ($52,032/year)
An additional $10,404 is budgeted for the term of the contract for costs not covered by basic 26 hours per month.
