SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
First Security Services will provide five (5) uniformed security guards and one (1) on-site supervisor for forty-(40) hours weekly. The following are the locations: Mendocino County Courthouse - Ukiah (100 N. State St., Ukiah), Mendocino County Courthouse - Fort Bragg (700 S. Franklin, Fort Bragg).
The Sheriff's Office conducted a competitive bidding process (SO-2017-001RFP) for "Security Guard Service" that closed on July 7, 2016. As the highest scoring bidder in that RFP, First Security Services will assume the contract after the Agreement with Allied Universal is terminated on November 14, 2017.
The term of this Agreement shall be from November 15, 2017 to November 14, 2020. The amount of the Agreement will change based on the Western States Consumer Price Index. The Agreement is funded through the State of California Trial Court Security Sub-Account.
