Approve retroactive Agreement with Willow Glen Care Center in the amount of $1,000,000 to provide residential treatment services for BHRS adult clients for term of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Summary of Request

Willow Glen Care Center provides coordinated residential care and specialized programs in a safe and supportive environment.  Willow Glen offers a board range of services to adults requiring a structured environment due to mental health challenges. Services include group therapy, trainings, entertainment/recreation, transportation and programs to promote the recovery of clients for independent living in the community. The County’s goal is to transfer clients to a less restrictive residential setting as soon as they are medically able. Basic daily rates vary depending on the level of care.
