SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The opioid epidemic has been proven to be an urgent public health matter in California as well as Mendocino County. Based on data from the assessment conducted by the Public Health Institute in early 2017, the new California Opioid Safety Network Accelerator Program (Coalition Accelerator program) will focus on three core strategy areas: addressing supply; promoting recovery; and preventing overdose deaths.
