Approve retroactive Agreement with Redwood Community Services Inc. in the amount of $186,400 for the term of July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2018, for housing and case management for specialty mental health services; authorize the Health and Human Services Director or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The County fulfills its obligation to provide necessary specialty mental health services through contractors. Contracts to provide 24/7 supportive living, as well as case management to clients 18 years and older in Mendocino County who are court-ordered into Assisted Outpatient Treatment, and/or Lanterman, Petris & Short Act services (Laura's Law). RCS has opened a new home called Haven House located in Mendocino County - this is the best alternative for keeping our clients local where they have more emotional support from family and friends. This Agreement was delayed due to negotiations around contract language and budget as it is a new endeavor with improved services for our residents in need.
