Summary of Request:
The OTS mission is to effectively and efficiently administer traffic safety grants while fostering partnerships to deliver innovative programs that reduce traffic deaths, injuries and economic losses. If funds are received Mendocino County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA), Public Health Branch will provide services through the Prevention of Drug Impaired Driving Program and will partner with community organizations to meet grant deliverables. Public Health’s Prevention and Planning Unit and subcontractors will work with youth, children and the general public to create awareness and educational strategies to prevent drug impaired driving and improve bicycle safety.
