On August 2, 2016, Chapter 6.32, Cannabis Business Tax, Ordinance 4361 was adopted by the Board.
Summary of Request:
The Treasurer-Tax Collector and County Counsel have prepared the attached documents detailing areas where staff is seeking direction, as well as proposing possible amendments for Board review. The potential areas for clarification are as follows:
• Issues Relating to Redwood Complex Fire
• Cannabis Cycles
• Minimum Tax per Growing Cycle
• Amendments regarding definition of “Gross Receipts
• Amendments regarding Tax imposed on all other commercial cannabis businesses
