PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
Every other year the Redwood Region Logging Conference holds its annual event in Ukiah at the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds. The dates this year are March 15-17, 2018. The County of Mendocino desires to recognize the historic and continuing contribution to the economic and cultural prosperity that the timber industry provides throughout the Redwood Region of California by proclamation. The proclamation will be presented at the 80th Annual Redwood Region Logging Conference to honor the industry's contribution and to welcome all attendees. The County of Mendocino urges the public to attend the three day event.

The Board of Supervisors routinely adopts Proclamations recognizing special events.
